Las
Vegas Trip This year
my family went on a trip to Las Vegas. We went to a huge aquarium where we saw sharks and ray; we visited the pink flamingos
at, well Flamingo Hotel, and even saw five month old tiger cubs and dolphins at the Secret Garden! Here's
more about our trip to the Secret Garden.
When we walked in we saw the large dolphin pool. Two beautiful dolphins
were swimming in it, shooting through the coral arches and bobbing their heads up at the surface. The dolphins did small leaps
and dives and were obviously enjoying themselves! We were able to go down a ramp into a room with many large windows and watch
the dolphins play underwater! They would sometimes press right up to the glass and curiously stare at you. It was amazing!
In a slightly smaller pool nearby four dolphins were calmly swimming. There were two mothers and two small calves! The
calves were small and stayed right by their mother's side! They were wonderful!
Later in the day the trainers fed
the dolphins. After the dolphins were fed their buckets of fish, they followed the trainers along the poolside until the trainers
finally gave the dolphins more fish! These dolphins really liked their fish!
Before we left we walked back to the biggest
aquarium to watch the trainers play with the dolphins. The dolphins did spiralling jumps, waved, nodded and propelled the
trainers through the water! It was amazing! It was a very fun experience!
